Today, the Crixás mining district is home to some of the largest gold operations in Brazil, including four mines from AngloGold Ashanti in a deposit with 9 million ounces of gold and an annual production of over 130,000 ounces of gold. Jupiter Gold’s Crixás Project is located 11 miles from these mines.

  • In Q2 2019, Jupiter Gold conducted an exploratory campaign at Crixás, in which placer gold was identified and recovered using gravitational methods.
